Plan International's Research and Evaluation Agenda 2018 – 2021

The Research and Evaluation Agenda outlines research and evaluation priorities for Plan International. Developed by subject matter experts across Plan International and informed by annotated bibliographies identifying evidence gaps, the Research and Evaluation Agenda highlights priority themes under each of Plan International’s key areas of work:

  • Inclusive quality education
  • Youth employment and entrepreneurship
  • Girls, boys and youth as active drivers of change
  • Sexual and reproductive health and rights
  • Early childhood development
  • Protection from violence.

The Research and Evaluation Agenda has been created to support and guide Plan International offices in choosing relevant and appropriate research and evaluation topics that will support quality, evidence-based programmes and influencing – and contribute Plan International’s target of helping 100 million girls learn, lead, decide and thrive.
