Goals Off Target

Accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals with girls and young women

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were established in 2015. Eight years in, halfway to the 2030 deadline, this report takes a look at how the SDGs are perceived by girls and young women.

Is the focus on gender equality being sustained and is it having a real impact on girls’ lives? At the current rate of progress, will 2030 bring a better life and a better world?

“The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
They address the global challenges we face, including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace, and justice.”
