Bridging the Future
Ten illustrations tell the story of the climate crisis in a concrete and relatable way.
When facilitating conversations on climate change in the My Body My Future Programme (2022-2025), supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Plan International Finland and its partners realised that there is little content for climate change education that is relatable and engaging in the context of rural communities where Plan International works.
To respond to this need, we created the ”Bridging the Future: Climate Change Illustrations for Community Dialogue” with partners and specialists from programme countries.
Intergenerational dialogues
Ten illustrations tell the story of the climate crisis in a concrete and relatable way. These illustrations and accompanying fact sheets were created to support and facilitate discussions during intergenerational dialogues and community meetings.
They can also be used as visual guides for existing lesson plans and climate change curricula in various settings.
This resource is versatile and adaptable; facilitators can select one or two illustrations depending on the duration, topic, and context of the engagement. Choose the illustrations that are most relatable to the lives of the participants and start the conversation!
