One year on: Children in Nepal still need support
One year since the devastating April 2015 earthquake, thousands of children and families are still in urgent need of support.
Plan International has so far helped 287,847 people since the earthquake by providing emergency shelter, food and water, and immediate access to temporary classrooms and dedicated child protection facilities.
Rebuilding Nepal has only just begun. We now need your financial support to help communities that were devastated by the earthquake to rebuild and recover.
Over the next 2 years, our aid will support 325,000 more people in need, focusing on child protection, education, shelter, water and sanitation, livelihoods/income generation and disaster risk reduction.
