In this full-length film, we meet real-life Cinderellas who are trying to make better lives for themselves having been trafficked into domestic labour.

In Togo, West Africa, thousands of girls are trafficked every year to work as domestic servants in the capital Lomé, or in Nigeria, Benin or Ghana.

Most are trafficked by female relatives who were forced into domestic work themselves when they were young girls.

Plan International helps reunite trafficked girls with their families and provide them with training to reintigrate them into society. We also help girls who are young enough return to school. The programme also works alongside traffickers and local authorities to raise awareness of the dangers of trafficking and the importance of children's rights.
