Parenting and Adolescent Life Skills case studies

Plan International’s Parenting and Adolescent Life Skills (PALS) programme promotes the psychosocial wellbeing, health and safety of adolescents aged 10 to 19 in crisis settings.

The PALS programme was developed in 2021 and is implemented by Plan and partners in more than 15 countries worldwide.

The PALS case study series is part of a global initiative to strengthen the evidence on Plan International’s humanitarian life skills and parenting programme model.

The case studies describe the implementation of the programme model in humanitarian crisis contexts in Ethiopia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sudan, South Sudan, Ukraine and Uganda.

Each case study showcases successes and challenges as well as lessons learned and recommendations.
