What is gender inequality?

Gender inequality is the condition in which access to rights, resources, and opportunities is unequally distributed between genders, including men, women, boys, girls, and individuals of other gender identities.

What is gender-based violence?

Gender-based violence refers to any act of violence that is directed against an individual based on their gender identity or perceived gender. It is a widespread and persistent problem that affects people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds.

What is child marriage?

Child marriage refers to all marriages or unions in which one or both spouses are under the age of 18 and or were not able to give their free and informed consent.

What is female genital mutilation?

Female genital mutilation comprises of all procedures that involve partial or total removal of the external female genitalia for non-medical reasons.
