Marjorie: from Lima to the world stage | Plan International Skip to main content

Marjorie, 17,  is a girls' rights campaigner from Lima, Peru. She has been working with Plan International since Lima was announced as the most unsafe city for a girl to leave the house alone or use public transport last year.

In June 2019, Marjorie was invited to Vancouver, Canada, to attend Women Deliver, the largest feminist conference in the world.

"I'm really excited to take part in this conference. I'll be representing the girls of my country."

Watch Marjorie's journey from the outskirts of Lima, to the world stage - to take the lead and help set the agenda for the world's girls.
