Please support children and families affected by escalating conflict in Lebanon.
Children in Lebanon have been living with the fear of war since last October. Their fears have now become a terrifying reality with an unprecedented wave of airstrikes across the country, including in densely populated neighbourhoods.
Thousands of people are now fleeing their homes, many of them spending more than 12 hours in their cars in the hope of finding safer shelter.
Children and families are terrified for their safety, with the threat of danger present everywhere.

We are responding to the needs of children and families in Lebanon
“Across Lebanon, fear and anxiety is widespread amongst children and their families. Having lived with the looming threat of war since last October, the past few days have seen airstrikes increasing in number and intensity and expanding from the country’s south into Beirut and other areas.
“All schools have been closed, and thousands of children have been forced to flee their homes in search of safety with only the clothes on their back. At least 308 schools have now opened their doors to families seeking refuge, these shelters now urgently need mattresses, blankets, food and hygiene items. Humanitarian needs are growing by the day.
“With the mass displacement of children and their families to safer areas, our emergency response teams are working urgently to provide humanitarian assistance to children and their families. We have managed to reach 28,000 internally displaced people in the south before this week and have distributed 1,500 essential items today alone, and will continue to work to provide life-saving assistance for as long as it is needed.”
