Urgent funding is needed to reach children
The horror and trauma children in Gaza have faced is indescribable and unconscionable.
A ceasefire will stop the bombs and missiles, but humanitarian need in Gaza today is immense. Without urgent lifesaving aid and access, people will continue to die from hunger, dehydration, and lack of medical care. Saving lives means more than silence on the battlefield – it means urgently scaling up humanitarian relief now.
Newly displaced families have endured a dark journey. Supporting them in their new locations is not only urgent but lifesaving, as timely assistance can mean the difference between survival and further tragedy.
Winter is approaching, cold weather won’t make it easy for people in shelter, with your urgent donation, we can deliver winterisation kits, and tents to shelter displaced people inside Gaza.
The conflict in Gaza has also left the healthcare system on the verge of total collapse, with medical shortages, widespread disease and malnutrition. Remaining hospitals and medical facilities lack essential medicines and equipment.
Delivering life-saving supplies
Through strong partnerships with local NGOs, we are ready to deliver more lifesaving assistance to children and families in Gaza and to scale up our support. But to do this, we need more funding, in addition to sustained humanitarian access and protection for humanitarian workers.
