Plan puts birth registration on the UN agenda
United Nations Human Rights Council’s 19th session adopted a resolution dedicated to birth registration and the right of everyone to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.
In October 2012 the General Assembly will be presented with an opportunity to endorse the work of the Human Rights Council.
