Plan Cameroon gives thousands of children an identity!
In October 2009, Plan launched a nine-month campaign to promote children’s right to an identity. Plan surpassed its targets by registering more than 8,300 children by working closely with the communities. Awareness raising activities were so successful that several parents made financial contributions to support children from poorest families.
Building upon this success, Plan Cameroon will soon launch "Operation 10,000 birth certificates" and ensure that more children are protected.
