This publication sets out the key results of a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the coverage provided by the press in ten Latin American countries on issues directly affecting the reality of children and adolescents.
This training package consists of a manual and workshop video and has been adapted from the original version “Stepping Stones” to fit the Latin American context.
The access to the right, scientific and clear information, in a material to promote the well-being and the reproductive and sexual health in adolescents, is a right that in Latin America is being promoted by Plan through an alliance with Family Care International.
The sexuality, love, affection and rights are the issues that integrate this material in daily lessons. The first lesson starts as new born baby with the first relation established with the sight, the words or the caresses and the care that the parents provide.
The second material of three issues is created to provide keys to help boys, girls and adolescents to discover themselves.
This educative material is part of the formation process promoted by Plan and intended in a special way for boys, girls and adolescents.
The ability to properly respond to a catastrophic event, such as the devastating 2001 earthquake in El Salvador, the 2004 tsunami in Asia or human-made disasters, can be significantly improved by following the preparation and response guidelines provided in this manual developed by the Asian Region Office.
