Responsive Care, Early Stimulation and Learning

Children under 5 years of age who are the most marginalised and excluded have access to timely and comprehensive support for early stimulation and learning along with nutrition, health, hygiene and protection in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Reduce the prevalence of underweight and stunted children. • Increase the percentage of households providing responsive care as well as age and developmentallyappropriate stimulation for young children. • Build positive relationships between parents/other caregivers and their young children among participating communities. • Ensure that community-based disaster preparedness plans include the needs of young children. • Increase timely enrolment of children in pre-school education.
