This year, Plan International Cambodia reached over 5 million children and young people through impactful programmes in health, education, protection, and leadership. Together with our government partners, civil society, and communities, we achieved major milestones.

This progress reflects what’s possible when we unite around a shared vision: “All girls standing strong, creating global change”. Let us carry this momentum forward with hope, courage, and unwavering commitment to support girls, especially adolescent girls and young women to learn, lead, decide, and thrive”.
These achievements are not just numbers
- 142,310 children directly and 2,049,325 indirectly benefited from our programmes.
- 28,634 young people directly and 5,987,640 indirectly benefited from our programmes.
- 297 children received birth certificates.
- We partnered with the Ministry of Rural Development to declare 1 capital and 21 provinces to Ope Defecation Free.
- In collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, a standard inclusive latrine design was approved and announced for use nationwide.
- 150 vulnerable girls affected by child, early and forced marriage and unions completed vocational training skills.
- We collaborated with the Ministry of Women Affairs to develop the 5-year National Action Plan on the Prevention of Child, Early and Forced Marriage and Teenage Pregnancy 2025-2030.
- Plan International Cambodia with a working group, finally got the Cambodia’s 5-year National Action Plan on Prevention and Response to Violence Against Children (2025-2030) approved by the Council of Ministers.
- In partnership with Plan International Cambodia, the Ministry of Women’s Affairs launched the Girl Leadership Project 2024–2028. The initiative includes the national programme on Leading the Way for Girls’ Leadership programme, inspired by proven models like Champions of Change and Girls Takeover.
- 130 schools implementing school feeding programmes were handed over to government.
- Over 4,700 out-of-school children have benefited from school construction, learning materials, and remedial classes.
- We successfully secured approval to use the KOBO data collection system for collecting disaster and climate change data.
