An Open Letter to Governments Attending the UNHCR High Level Officials Meeting

A Call To End Discrimination In Refugee Responses

At the Global Refugee Forum in 2019, several actors committed to supporting disability inclusion, refugee children and gender equality. However, age, gender and diversity-centred responses are still inadequately prioritised in the implementation of the Global Compact on Refugees.

The open letter, signed by Plan International and 12 other organisations, calls on States to step up their commitment and contributions to make gender equality, child rights and inclusion a priority in their refugee actions and in the follow-up mechanisms to the Global Refugee Forum.
