Worst forms of child labour in Jordan and Lebanon: Baseline report

Plan International conducted a baseline assessment in Jordan and Lebanon to determine the underlying factors of and considerations about child labour.

The assessment concluded that child labour is a multifaceted social problem, as the socio-economic context of the geographic area is built around child labour.

The baseline evaluation report includes more insight on the underlying factors, working trends, prevalence of the worst forms of child labour in the household, as well as the impact on economic vulnerability, education, and protection of children.

The findings of this assessment are used to tailor and guide Plan International's interventions on child labour in Lebanon and Jordan.

The full assessment in English can be downloaded along with an executive summary of findings in Al Kaa, Lebanon.
