Economic empowerment in Mozambique

Supporting youth and adolescents, specifically young women and girls from underprivileged and marginalised communities, to have increased economic opportunities through skills training and job creation.

Plan International Mozambique provides economic stability in the communities it works through skills training and development for youth and adolescents.

We focus our work on children who were unable to complete their education and those less able to get good and sustainable jobs.

Our economic empowerment projects in both long-term development and emergency contexts support vulnerable groups with financial knowledge on how to save money, how to invest and how to make money so they are able to improve their lives and develop their communities.

These efforts increase the resilience of young people by improving their standard of living while promoting the overall development of their communities in infrastructure, education and decreasing gender disparities.
