Partnership Assistant
Mairéad joined the Plan International EU as ECHO Partnership Assistant in August 2023. As part of the Partnership team, she is supporting the organisation’s programmatic work within the context of the European Commission’s DG ECHO portfolio.
Before joining Plan International, Mairéad studied in Trinity College Dublin, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and English Literature. After this, she worked for a year in education and accounting. She went on to work as a Distribution Coordinator in Greece, assisting refugees and asylum seekers from various backgrounds. Mairéad has prior experience in publishing, team leadership, and volunteering.
Her first time in Brussels, Mairéad is eager to improve her French and learn more about humanitarian aid and development through Plan International, along with adding to her own skillset and experience.
