A dual commitment to human rights and health

The 16 Days of Activism, observed globally from November 25 to December 10, raises awareness and calls for an end to violence against women and girls. Similarly, World AIDS Day, commemorated on December 1, highlights the need for unity in the fight against HIV/AIDS, reducing stigma, and providing support to those affected.

By donating blood, Plan International Ethiopia’s staff not only contribute to saving lives but also emphasise the importance of collective action in addressing critical health and social challenges. Blood donation is a simple yet impactful way to give back to the community, and this initiative serves as an inspiration for others to participate in similar acts of solidarity.

Building a safer, healthier future

Plan International Ethiopia remains committed to fostering a safer, healthier, and more equitable world, particularly for women, girls, and marginalised groups. Through initiatives like this, the organisation reinforces the message that change starts with action, no matter how small.
