Throughout 2024, Plan International Senegal, either directly or through youth organisations, local development associations, and partner government at micro-level, implemented a high-quality and impact programme portfolio across 445 communities in Senegal.

Our advocacy efforts focused on several key areas, including early childhood development, malaria and tuberculosis prevention, human rights, girls’ rights, empowerment and decision-making, COVID-19 prevention, digital finance, online safety, and financial inclusion.
The implementation of these high-quality and impactful programmes was made possible through strong partnerships with the Senegal Government at all levels, as well as support from donors, national and international non- government organisations, united nations agencies, technical partners, and community, religious, and traditional leaders.
In 2024, Plan International Senegal maintained its presence in all 12 regions of the country, with a particular focus on 6 regions where community needs and funding opportunities are increasing.
Plan International Senegal successfully implemented 19 projects with a total budget of 7,030,847,451 XOF in close collaboration with 259 community organisations at micro-level, 180 national civil society organisations through 4 civil society networks, and 9 intergovernmental development aid institutions.
