Sylvain Mossou
Senior Operations Officer
Sylvain is responsible for the smooth and effective functioning of EULO by overseeing administrative, human resources, financial and office management operations.
Before joining Plan, Sylvain spent over a decade working with international NGOs and networks in Brussels. In recent years, his work has focused on strengthening organisations’ operating backbone, with particular expertise across finance, human resources, and operations. Earlier in his career, Sylvain held advocacy leadership roles at the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE) and Euromed Rights, where he led teams and coordinated strategy and delivery with a wide range of stakeholders.
Sylvain holds master’s degrees in International Relations, Human Rights, and Management & Human Resources. Both Gabonese and Belgian, he was raised in Gabon before settling in Belgium. He works in English and French.
Outside of work, Sylvain enjoys training, reading non‑fiction (particularly on psychology, leadership, and management) and listening to music.
