Michela Conti

INTPA Partnership Officer

Before joining Plan International’s EU Office in October 2025, Michela worked in the EU Representation Office of World Vision in Brussels, where she supported the organisation’s global network in engaging with EU institutions . Her work focused on strengthening partnerships and ensuring that EU external action prioritises the rights and needs of the most vulnerable, especially children and girls.

Previously, Michela worked at the World Resources Institute, a global research organisation working at the intersection of environment, governance, and development, where she contributed to the development of EU-funded projects and helped coordinate partnerships with financial institutions and European universities. Earlier, at the Expo 2030 Rome Bid Committee, she managed international outreach across more than 180 countries and coordinated high-level events and diplomatic engagements.

Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and solution-oriented, Michela loves taking initiative and exploring new challenges. She strongly believes in the power of cooperation to build a shared vision for a fairer world and sees NGOs as key actors in shaping meaningful global change.

Originally from Italy, Michela holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Political Science and an Advanced MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University. She is fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish, and speaks advanced French. Having lived in three countries, she loves travelling, being surrounded by friends, and staying active through sports.
