ECHO Partnership Assistant
Diletta joined the Plan International EU team as an ECHO Partnership Assistant in June 2024. In her role she works with the Partnership team on Plan International’s humanitarian programmatic portfolio, specifically supporting the ECHO Partnership Manager in monitoring and analysing DG ECHO grants. Diletta is passionate about humanitarian aid and girls’ rights. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in European Studies from the University of Maastricht, she completed her academic journey with a Master’s degree in International Development, where she specialised in localisation policy and the role of local actors, and conducted her fieldwork in Uganda. Prior to joining Plan International, Diletta worked in human rights and regional development in Chile and Denmark.
Originally from Italy, she has lived in many countries during the last year. Together with travelling, she loves sports. In 2023, she cycled from Colombia to Argentina before deciding to move back to Europe.
