Plan International Tanzania

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We have been operational in Tanzania since 1991 and work in 8 regions with footprints within 16.

We work with children, young people, communities, supporters, partners and the government to tackle the root causes of the challenges and inequalities children and young girls face.

We support vulnerable children, adolescent girls and their families to access health care, education, clean water, sanitation and protection.

We won’t stop until we are all equal.

Our current priorities include:

  • Child protection
  • Adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights
  • Inclusive, quality education
  • Water, sanitation and hygiene
  • Youth economic empowerment
  • Responding to emergencies
