At least 17 children killed as violence escalates in Sudan’s North Darfur
Recent drone strikes in El Fasher, North Darfur, have killed dozens of people sheltering in a displacement centre, including 17 children.
We support young people, especially young women aged 15-35, to take the lead in their lives so they can make key economic and social decisions in their communities.
Young people make up more than half of the Sudanese population, yet they are grossly underrepresented in key decision-making processes. This is especially true for girls who are not included as a result of preconceptions about what they are capable of.
We support girls and young women to become agents of change, so they can control their futures. To achieve this, we provide vocational training opportunities, access to financial services and advocate for policies and practices that are accessible to young people.
