Advancing nutritional livelihoods for refugee and host communities

Plan International Rwanda, in partnership with the World Food Programme in Rwanda, implements the ‘Social and Behaviour Change Communication for Nutrition (SBCC/N)’ project across 5 refugee camps, namely Mugombwa, Kigeme, Kiziba, Nyabiheke, and Mahama, as well as 17 host community villages.

The SBCC-N project aims to improve the nutrition of refugee women, adolescent boys and girls, and  children under 5.

This project bulletin shares success stories highlighting the project’s impactful initiatives aimed at improving the nutritional status of refugee women, adolescent boys and girls, and children under 5 in Rwanda.

Furthermore, the project strengthens maternal, infant, and young child nutrition knowledge and practices, while promoting equitable access to nutritious, diverse food sufficient for a healthy life.
