In flood-stricken regions long-term solutions matter
Health project coordinator Claudia explains what it takes to keep children healthy and safe in Peru's flood-stricken Loreto region.
Plan International began operating in Peru in 1994. We work together with children, young people, supporters and partners to strive for a just world where we are all equal. To do that we tackle the root causes of the challenges and inequalities children and young girls
face.
In Peru the enormous gap that exists between men and women is reflected in the high rates of sexual violence, femicide, high school drop-out rates for girls and in the huge gender pay gap.
Plan International works to end these inequalities so children are able to fulfill their potential.
We have offices in Lima, Piura, Cusco and Loreta but also implement projects elsewhere if we can have a big impact on the lives of children.
Our priorities include:
Av. Del Parque Norte, N° 639,
Ubanización Corpac,
LIM San Isidro
