COVID-19 will profoundly affect the environment in which children grow and develop
The challenges for children, particularly girls, will range from disruption to education, increased risk of sexual violence and mental health issues.
Plan International is working with the government of Fiji to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce its impacts on children.
We are sharing key health information, installing hand washing facilities and distributing hygiene kits whilst making sure girls’ and young women’s needs and rights are addressed.
