Plan Tanzania

Plan Tanzania started its operations in 1991 supporting vulnerable children and their families access health care, education, safe sanitation and water, productive livelihoods and protection.

It now operates in 7 regions– Dar es Salaam, Coast, Mwanza, Geita and Morogoro, Dodoma and Rukwa reaching about 2 million children and their communities.

As the country struggles to cope with the sudden influx of refugees from neighbouring Burundi, Plan Tanzania and other humanitarian agencies are responding to refugee children needs.
