Girls Takeover 2024
Every year, for the International Day of the Girl, hundreds of girls step into the roles of leaders for a day, putting them in leadership and decision making positions and encouraging leaders to hear their views and gain insight.
Through the #GirlsTakeover, girls occupy spaces where they are rarely seen or heard, making it clear they have the right to be there without being silenced or ignored.
In doing so, we aim to change perceptions around what is possible for girls and young women as decision makers, leaders and change makers.
