Plan Uganda

Plan has been working in Uganda since 1992, helping poor children to access their rights to health, education, protection and participation.

We work with more than 39,700 sponsored children, their families and communities in 5 districts across the country: Tororo, Kamuli, Luweero, Kampala and Lira.

Currently, we are implementing the Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission programme in Tororo district. This programme aims to protect children and their families affected by HIV and AIDS through various interventions that prevent mother-to-child transmission, support outreach programmes and provide legal support.
