An excellent year has just passed in which Plan International China built upon its past successes, revised plans and strategies and made further progress in implementing its programme choices.
Plan International China’s Country Strategic Plan (CSP) III, covering the period 2013 to 2017, became operational in July 2012 and this year we have increased the speed of its implementation. We have also redefined Plan International China’s ambition in order to be an effective, efficient, impactful, resourceful and relevant organization that is agile enough to fight child poverty and defend child rights in China.
Our CSP III is fully in line with Plan International's Global Strategy to 2015 by focusing attention much more on inclusion and excluded groups, including ethnic minorities, vulnerable youth and girls.
The thematic focus on early learning (Early Childhood Care & Development/Education) and Child Protection envisioned in Plan International's Global Strategy to 2015 constitutes a major part of China's CSP III Country Programmes.
