Girls' Rights Gazette 2014
The Girls' Rights Gazette was produced by Plan International EU office to celebrate the International day of the Girl Child on 11 October 2014.
The Girls’Rights Gazette 2014 looks into the over-arching theme of social norms, core of the root causes of female discrimination, in all the various settings, including economy and justice.
It aims at exploring why not so much progress has been made so far, as well as proposing solutions to overcome existing barriers for girls. In line with the objectives of the week, the Gazette also delves into EU commitments and obligations to gender.
