The post holder is based in Yangon and will be responsible for assisting the Programme team to ensure ongoing quality implementation of projects.

Dimensions of Role:
The Programme Assistant supports the Programme team to effectively and efficiently manage the individual development projects. The key role of the Programme Assistant is to provide necessary assistance to the programme team in maintaining the filing system of project documents and reports, preparation and documentation of field travel arrangements, trainings and workshops and assist the programme staff in requesting Goods and services and settling advances in accordance with Plan policy. S/he shall assist the project managers in entering data and information into Plan’s finance system.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Citizen of Myanmar
University degree in relevant field
Minimum 2- 3 years of hands-on experience in administration and finance support roles
Good oral and written fluency and communication in English and Myanmar as demonstrated by experience preparing text for reports and other documents
Basic financial and budgeting skills
Work experience with non‐government or government institutions/organization in a multi‐cultural setting is an advantage
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Windows, Power Point, Outlook) databases
Flexible, able to work under pressure, innovative and a team player
