Plan International Bolivia implements the Active Communities for Healthy Mother and Childhood project (CAMINAS), which improves the health and the integral maternal-child development. This project develops cross-sectorial actions through the components: health, early child development, water and sanitation, food security and sexual and reproductive rights. All activities integrate the gender equality approach.

CAMINAS has the support of the Canadian Cooperation and has been implemented in Bolivia since 2011.

 

One of the materials, of the communication strategy of the project, is this sheet of recommendations, which reinforces the practices of equality and respect for children under 5 years and for pregnant women, in an effort to improve their lives involving the couple, the family and the community.
