Plan International is searching for its next CEO

Plan International is seeking to recruit a new Chief Executive Officer. The incumbent, Ms Anne-Birgitte Albrecten, who has been our CEO for six years, is leaving us to head up the Lego Foundation.

Since 2015, we have undergone a significant transformation, with a new focused Purpose and a Global Strategy 100 Million Reasons. Our global strategy has successfully positioned Plan International as a global champion of children’s rights and equality for girls. We are the world’s largest girls’ rights organisation and a global leader striving for the rights of all children.

2021 is our final year to reach our current strategic goals and also to refresh our strategy by recalibrating and deepening our commitments to deliver on our Purpose.

We are now searching for our next CEO to lead the organisation to achieve even more for children and girls over the next strategy period. We have high ambitions to strengthen and evolve our global operations even further by becoming more efficient, agile and transparent through leveraging data and digital innovation with the ultimate goal of increasing our impact on the lives of the children and girls we serve.

We’ve hired executive search firm Perrett Laver to assist us with this search. If you’re interested in applying, please click the button below.
