Plan Haiti works in partnership with local community development organisations and government bodies, in order to ensure children’s survival, health, good education and participation in decisions affecting their lives.

1- Ministère de l’Éducation Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle (MENFP) 

Plan International Haiti has an agreement with the Ministry of Education for the certification of teachers taking part in the  quality learning project.



2- Ministère de la santé Publique et de la population (MSPP)

Plan International Haiti provides financial support to the divisional branches of the Ministry of Health on health issues in the three Departments where we work.


3- Fonkoze

Plan International Haiti supports this micro-finance institution which offers a full range of financial services to the rural-based poor, and is committed to the economic and social improvement of the people and communities of Haiti.

4- Maison l’Arc-en-Ciel

A Haitian local non-governmental organisation providing community-based education and outreach to reduce the stigma associated with AIDS and find constructive solutions to reduce transmission.


5- Fondation Haïtienne  des Écoles Privées (FOHNEP)

The Foundation’s core activities are to provide education and vocational training to primary school teachers.


6- CCO Haiti

The NGO Coordinating Committee in Haiti (CCO HAITI) is a consortium of NGOS operating in the humanitarian and development sector. As a member of the CCO, Plan International Haiti participated actively in the meetings of the platform in order to discuss the concerns, points of common interests and to explore the possibilities of joint actions.


Plan International Haiti has an inter-institutional agreement which allows the two parties to help each other, complement, to share their experiences in different areas of joint intervention. We work in partnership with Care especially in Education and on advocacy actions in Education.

8- Dinepa

Plan is working closely with the DINEPA in the  water and sanitation sector. As a State institution, responsible for the national development of the WASH sector, the DINEPA is involved in all phases of interventions and projects of Plan International Haiti in that sector

9- Ministère à la Condition Féminine et aux Droits des Femmes (MCFDF)

The Ministry for the Status and the rights of Women is a strategic partner of Plan International Haiti. Through a memorandum of agreement, the two institutions have committed themselves to pool their efforts and to harmonize their strategies in the areas of protection and promotion of the rights of women and girls in Haiti

10- Ministère de la Justice et de la Sécurité Publique

Plan is providing its support to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security in the fight against the problem of the registration of births.


Plan International Haiti is working in close collaboration for several years on several issues, either as donors, either as a partner for implementation. One of the fruits of this partnership was a project of strengthening of 14 schools in the metropolitan region in terms of disaster and  risk management.

12- Bureau du Secrétaire d’État à l’Intégration des Personnes Handicapées. (BSEIPH).

Plan International Haiti and the BSEIPH have excellent relations and are committed to give each other mutual support in the fight for the integration of people living with a disability.

13- Institut du Bien-Être Social et de Recherches (IBERS)

IBESR is a public institution, under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, with a mission to meet the multiple and varied social problems of the deprived layers of the Haitian population in general. Plan International collaborated with IBESR for the implementation of this mission, with a particular focus on the activities targeting children.

14- Save The Children

Plan International Haiti works with Save The Children in Haiti, through CLIO - a space for dialog and exchanges between NGOS. The two institutions are working together especially in the education and child protection sectors.
