GIRLS IN PARAGUAY PREPARE FOR OCTOBER 11TH

Members of the BIAAG movement met for three days (July 18th, 19th and 20th) to define the activities of the year, in order to strengthen the empowerment and training of all the girls, and to plan the actions of the upcoming October 11th, International Day of the Girl.

In these days, they also worked on the consolidation of a Leadership School managed by them, called "Flowers of steel". The construction of the name was collective, inspired by stories of women who fought for a more egalitarian world throughout history. The School seeks to strengthen the girl’s leadership, towards the transformation of gender norms.

They also created their new flag and worked on the construction of a "Recipe for equality". In addition, each girl wrote herself a letter that she will open at the end of the Leadership School.
