THE MINISTRY OF PLANNING VISITED PLAN HAITI

A delegation composed of six people from the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation visited the Country Office of Plan International in Haiti to better understand our work.

A fruitful exchange was held with the country management team and Aviol Fleurant, the Minister. He mentioned that Plan is among the oldest productive Non-Governmental Organizations in the country working with young people and children with an emphasis on girls for the coming five years.

He also asked the Country Director, Marie Thérèse Frédérique Jean Pierre, to explain how we involve young people in the application of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).“The Government counts on Plan International as they’ve been working in Haiti for 40 years now and it is one of the rare organizations who works to empower children, young people, mostly girls in the country.” He concluded!“The Government counts on Plan International as they’ve been working in Haiti for 40 years now and it is one of the rare organizations who works to empower children, young people, mostly girls in the country", he concluded.
