Position: Logistics Officer
Accountable to: Logistics Coordinator
Assignment Type: one year contract with possibility of renewal

Job background: This position reports to the Logistics Coordinator and responsible for assisting logistics function, purchasing, maintaining office operations. Works closely with all the staff based in the Country Office and in some cases with the field offices if facilities and supplies are not available or not possible to obtain in the field offices. He/she covers multi task function on logistics and procurement support. Provide any logistics related areas functions to ensure they are carried out according to Plan International Myanmar policy and procedure. No financial authority required and budget management responsibility.
Job purpose: • Provide logistics and procurement support to all Plan staff in achieving country needs and requirement. • Performing the daily logistics tasks according to Plan standard procurement processes and procedures. • Tasks includes gathering of quotations, samples, close coordination with the requestor on the details of the requests and ensuring on time delivery of goods and services. • For Program Units request, he/she will be responsible for the delivery of items. Cooperate with Country Admin team in the preparation of meeting and conferences. • Filling all logistics related documents according to Plan systems and procedures. • Responsible for regular update of Vendor information in SAP and any other SAP related procurement functions. • Assist Logistics Coordinator in updating of the Procurement Tracking Sheet recording the progress and procurement status of all transactions carried out in Plan CO. • Travels to Project Units to provide support to the Logistics Team when needed and requested by the Line Supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Citizen of Myanmar • Minimum 2-3 years in experience on the logistics • Suitable knowledge on technical supply chain support • Skills in preparing procurement tracking sheet • Negotiation skills • Good both in written and verbal communication • Able to work with flexibility and extended time if necessary • Proficient in computer skills and use of relevant software and other app • Integrity and transparency and honest • Communicates to others with dignity and respect • Open to receive suggestion and comments as a learning point from others • Respect for gender equity • Adherence to child rights and child protection aspects within and outside work • Able to work as a part of a team
