Rebecca joined Plan International as Personal Assistant to the Head of Office in April. She will be working closely with Serap and supporting her in her work. Prior to this, she spent three months volunteering with Help Refugees and Collective Aid in Northern France for three months as a team leader on the field. Other experience includes working as a Communications Intern for EURORDIS - Rare Diseases Europe in Paris, volunteering for various children’s organisations, and campaigning with Amnesty International. She is very excited to now be working at Plan International.
Rebecca graduated from the University of Durham in July 2019 and holds a BA in Modern Languages and Cultures (German and French). Her specific interests focused on gender and genocide in 20th Century literature. She will start her MSc in Human Rights at LSE in September and wishes to continue working for NGOs in the future.
