Astrid Sevrin is responsible for supporting the implementation of Plan Europe’s funding strategy, by supporting on the internal coordination process for funding opportunities across the organisation and acting as a reference desk for EU project implementation and management, for both DEVCO and ECHO. She supports the development of strategies and annual work plans for both DEVCO and ECHO. She is responsible for the development and monitoring of Plan International databases on status of application and successful proposals up to date, including dissemination and knowledge management. She has the responsibility as well to provide capacity building and compliance support to NOs and COs applying for and implementing EU grants, including reviewing project proposals. She also conducts the quantitative and qualitative analysis of EU funding in Plan International.
Astrid has graduated from a Master in linguistics, and from the NOHA Master in International Humanitarian Action. She conducted a thesis research in North Kivu (DRC) on the demobilisation, rehabilitation, and reintegration of girls formerly associated with armed groups, while volunteering with a local child protection NGO, PAMI – UNICEF DDR implementing partner. Before joining Plan Europe in April 2018, she did a traineeship at ECHO as geographical desk assistant for Central African Republic.
