Lena joined the Plan International EU Office as a Partnership Assistant in July 2021. Supporting the Head of Partnerships, INTPA Manager and Partnership Coordinator, her role focuses on regularly monitoring funding opportunities, assessing eligibility, managing the INTPA grants database, and supporting coordination mechanisms with the National Offices.
She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Organizations from Leiden University, during which she completed a 6-month long exchange in Santiago, Chile. Since then, she has worked with the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration on border management strategies, as well as completed a traineeship with the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office at the British Embassy in Warsaw focusing on external policies. Her interests revolve around education, gender equality, children's rights, and social justice.
