Data Management Assistant (Education)

Position: Data Management Assistant (Education)
Reports to: Project Manager
Assignment Type: Six months contract with possibility of renewal
Closing date for applications: 31 October, 2016 at 5pm

Job background: The Data Management Assistant (Education) provides database and record keeping support, and performs various administrative and clerical duties, in the organizational settings to ensure the project goals and objectives. He/she will oversee the implementation and progress of the project activities improving education program through coordination with project manager. He/she will be responsible the monitoring process and evaluation process also.

Job purpose: Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry • Verify data and correct data where necessary • Check source documents for accuracy • Implement and report on the project related M&E requirements and milestones in coordination with the Project Manager • Prioritize and organize various activities and should aid the program when it comes to data collection, investigation analysis • Ensure appropriate administrative and electronic filing system within Response Team are developed and maintained to allow an efficient and largely self-servicing • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms • Supporting the project activities and field assessment for educational documentation to undertake as necessary.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Citizen of Myanmar • Minimum one years of demonstrated professional experience in M&E and data management in Myanmar • Bachelor degree with relevant subjects • Extensive experience assessing, using in Microsoft word, excel, and Photoshop • Good knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation and Do No Harm is advance • Academic degree in relevant area • Good English language skills, in written • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment • Strong team-building and facilitation skills • Excellent communication skills • Proficient in computer skills.
