Compliance Manager

Plan International is an international humanitarian, child centered development organization, implementing development programs that promote the realization and fulfillment of children’s rights and the alleviation of child poverty.

Position: Compliance Manager
Assignment duration: Three year contract
Duty station: Yangon with frequent travel to the field


Plan International Myanmar has grown rapidly over the past three years and now requires a Compliance Manager to establish an audit program and undertake independent compliance reviews of finance, administration, security, child protection and human resources within Plan and with partners. The Compliance Manager will also oversee risk management and any fraud investigation required.


The Compliance Manager will develop an audit program; carry out compliance reviews; conduct risk identification workshops; complete quarterly risk registers; share best practices; and conduct any fraud investigation necessary. It is the expected that the Compliance Manager will supervise Compliance Officers as the department grows.


Bachelor degree in accounting or related field; at least five years’ experience in auditing preferably with INGOs; experience managing staff; knowledge of risk management; excellent English skills; good analytical skills; high degree of professionalism and integrity; good interpersonal skills; ability to travel to the field 50% of the time.
