Where we work
Core areas of activities: Plan Pakistan’s work covers around 150 communities, benefiting about 50,000 children under the following areas:
- child and gender rights
- disaster risk reduction and response
Work continues in our programme units, which are unaffected by the 2010 floods crisis.
Formed in 1997, the unit's work covers the district of Chakwal in the northern part of the Punjab Province.
The Urban Programme Unit was formed in 2003 and works in the slum areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Based in the capital city, it is one of the recent units in Pakistan.
Bordering Southern Punjab, this unit was formed in 2000 and covers the districts of Vehari and Burrewalla.
