Country Director - Myrna Evora

Myrna Evora Plan Bangladesh Country Director

Myrna Evora has been with Plan since 1987 following 5 years experience in community development work and teaching social work. She held senior management positions in Plan's Indonesia, Philippines and Bolivia offices, before taking the country director post in our Sri Lanka office in 2002. Ms. Evora oversaw Plan programme activities with over 24,000 families in 8 districts across the country. She also directed the tsunami reconstruction programme in the southern district.

Ms. Evora held the position of Regional Director for Plan in Asia, based in Bangkok, from July 2006 to March 2011, where she led 13 Plan programme countries. She joined Plan Bangladesh as the Country Director on April 1, 2011.
