Plan started working in Peru in 1994 and since then has helped to improve the lives of over half a million people in Cusco, Piura, Cajamarca and Lima.
Our work begins the moment we reach out to members of a community, establishing relationships to work together to plan their development and identify priority issues affecting children. This is done in active communication with local authorities in order to gain their support and commitment.
Currently, Plan works with approximately 300 communities by promoting skills development and access to resources needed to implement projects that lead to positive and lasting changes in the lives of children and adolescents.
