Plan Haiti works in partnership with local community development organisations and government bodies, in order to ensure children’s survival, health, good education and participation in decisions affecting their lives.

Centre pour le développement et la santé (CDS)

One of the first Plan partners in Haiti, CDS consists of a group of clinics providing health services to the poor.

Ministère de l’Education Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle (MENFP)

Plan has an agreement with the MENFP (Haiti’s education ministry) for the certification of teachers taking part in the quality learning project.

Ministère de la santé publique et de la population (MSPP)

Plan provides financial support to the divisional branches of the MSPP on health issues in the 3 areas where we work.

Caritas

Partnership with Plan on humanitarian issues, especially AIDS prevention, though this organisation has also responded to nationwide hunger, health, women’s rights and agriculture issues.

Fonkoze

Plan-supported microfinance institution, offering a full range of financial services to the rural-based poor, and committed to the economic and social improvement of the people and communities of Haiti.

Fondation Haïtienne  des Ecoles Privées (FOHNEP)

Core activities are to provide education and vocational training to primary school teachers.

Fondation pour la Santé Reproductrice et l’Education Familiale (FOSREF)

Plan has an agreement with FOSREF to support its capacity to provide young people with services that include: counselling and psychological services; testing for HIV family planning, and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.

Service de Gestion des Centres Préscolaires de Jacmel

Local structure supported by Plan which provides quality education to 58 preschool centres in southeast Haiti.

Maison l’Arc-en-Ciel

Haitian local non-governmental organisation providing community-based education and outreach to reduce the stigma associated with AIDS and find constructive solutions to reduce transmission.

Fondation AfricAmérica

Explores and promotes artistic production in Haiti, and teaches painting to youth and children from Plan’s work areas.

Health Education Learning Resources Projects (H.E.L.P)

Located in the west zone and providing community services in the areas of health, education, animal husbandry, nutrition, agriculture and irrigation.

Coalition Pour la Défense des Droits de l’Enfant (COHADDE)

Haitian child-rights consortium partnering with Plan to coordinate advocacy initiatives.

Volontariat pour le développement d’Haïti (VDH)

Focused on community participation and providing educational health, mentoring and counselling services, and supporting the social and economic integration of youth.
